What a pathetic episode of Queer as Folk. Nothing happened! Then again, I said the same thing after I saw Star Wars for the first time. Okay, lots happened, but I didn't feel satisfied. And okay, they used Bright Eyes's "Lover I don't have to love" durning a Brian sequence--the song used on EVERY Brian Kinney fanmix. And then they end with Brian saying "I Love You" and I'm what, supposed to be shocked by this? Should I go pant like a crazy B/J fangirl? I may be a crazy fangirl, but even I have dignity. Like I give a fuck about B/J anyway at this point. I am much more a Ted/Blake fangirl, and suffer through the destruction of Brian so I can wait for my fav relationship. Did not enjoy Ted's date, don't feel like getting into it. Hunter's comming back, yay! Though Deb's being mean to him, wah! But dude, B/J, marriage ant the house, I'm barfing in anticipation.

Now, I did finish HBP, and I've been reading meta all day and last night, many links provided by [info]nicefeet ^-^. People have discussed it way better than me, but I'll just mention a few stuff.

--The scariest scene for me was Harry force feeding the potion to Dumbledore. It was so horrible, having to cause pain to someone you love, practically torture them, because you have to. That was definately making me cry, so did Dumbledore's funeral, and I loved that Harry was sort of making jokes to himself and remembering Dumbledore at that point.

--Dumbledore was awesome, and funny, and I really enjoyed him and Harry together.

--At first I liked Snape being evil, then at the end I decided he isn't really, and that's pretty interesting.

--I'm starting to think JKR just sucks at romances. Her few sweet scenes like Bill/Fleur in the hospital, and some other ones, were marred by the utter crap. I will never forgive Harry's creature and the conga in his insides. Sorry, never.

--Horcruxes seem like Robin Hobb and the whole memories thing, kinda like with Kennit and all that. Only different. And dude, Marshes of the Dead.

--Regarding Tonks/Lupin--I still think Remus was with Sirus before he died. I also think Tonks was out of wack because he wouldn't go out with her while at the same time worried because he was in serious danger among the werewolves. I don't think she was simpley pining for the love of a man, so her behaviour makes sense to me.

EDIT: Luna and Harry going to a party was the best thing ever!

That's all my thoughts for now...

that's a good point, what with Tonks worrying about Remus' undercover work. I never thought of that.
